They are Louis Hamilton and Chester Beach. The two of them both worked at U.S. Standard Electrical Works in 1904. That is in Racine, Wisconsin. The Hamilton Beach Manufacturing Company was launched in 1910. Beach was in-charge of the factory while Hamilton took charge of the advertising and the business. Its first successful product was the electric drink mixer which easily became popular in Racine. By 1911, the drink mixer that Beach created became popular across the United States. Doctors even prescribed to use to make milkshakes for strength-building. Year after year, Hamilton Beach manufactured more electric home appliances ranging from fans to sewing machines to grinders. By the 1920s, they produced vacuum cleaners, juice extractors, floor polishers and many more. Their catalog already offered a few pages of home appliances for customers to choose from. In fact, it supplied motors and other equipment for the U.S. Military during the World War II. Finally in 1990, Hamilton Beach joined Proctor-Silex. They have become the most popular manufacturer in the United States. Since then, the company never stops to develop the quality of their appliances.
